About Us

I’m Hannah Abrahams, an Educational and Child Psychologist.

I work in North West London, Central and South West London. I trained at the Institute of Education in 2005, prior to this I was a Primary School Teacher in Inner London Boroughs. I am registered with the British Psychological Society and the Health and Care Professionals Body.
I passionately believe that each child has an individual way of learning, not only cognitively but emotionally and socially too. Every child has a right to accessing their learning to the best of their ability. By using comprehensive psychological assessments including the use of consultation with parents and teachers, a child’s strengths can be clearly identified in order to support them in reaching their full potential. I have worked with children and young people with a range of needs including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, Dyspraxia, Autistic Spectrum Condition, Memory and Behavioural Difficulties. I offer both cognitive and dynamic assessment as well as structured interviews to gain a holistic and integrated understanding of your child.

I also run informative and collaborative workshops for parents in order to provide a platform to discuss the challenges of parenting and caring for children at different developmental stages with topics including, Supporting and managing behavioural challenges as well supporting the development of your child’s reading and mathematical knowledge.

I am especially interested in working with children who may be experiencing separation anxiety or who have also experienced loss, change and transition in their lives. I offer therapeutic support using the principles of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy as well as Solution Focussed Brief Therapy and Narrative Enquiry.

I regularly run training and INSET for School on a number of topics including supporting and recognising mental health difficulties in pupils, supporting children who may experience social and communication difficulties as well as Literacy and Numeracy Support.

As a Psychologist I have very close links with excellent London Based specialists in order to work collaboratively, these include Speech and Language Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Child Psychiatrists and Clinical Psychologists to fully support your child and family should it be necessary.
